On Spain specialises in organising language trips for organised groups. The programme, both linguistic and cultural, is adjusted individually: the client communicates his or her needs and the school chooses specific solutions for them. On Spain has experience in working with school groups and adult groups from many parts of the world.
The school offers the following programmes:
group language course with at least 15 hours of classes, accommodation with a family with half or full board and cultural activities during the week and excursions on the weekends; individual language course with at least 20 hours of classes per week, accommodation with a family (half or full board), in a hostel, hotel or shared flat with Spanish students; International summer camp: a 2-week international holiday camp for teenagers from different countries (including from Spain) aged between 15 and 20, a programme divided into 2 blocks: morning Spanish lessons (for foreign students) and English lessons (for Spanish students), and in the afternoon cultural and sports activities that allow for integration and cultural exchange; work placement programme – student internships in a company allowing you to get used to the reality of work, get to know the functioning of the company, broaden your specialist vocabulary related to the profession; On Spain cooperates with companies from different sectors (including water sports, golf courses, hotels, restaurants, shops with different profiles, offices); after completing the internship, a certificate accredited by the company where the internship took place is awarded. The work placement programme includes a business language course, which takes place in the afternoon on the On Spain premises, at the end of the working day, and is complemented by a set of activities related to the history and culture of Spain. The participants are accommodated with Spanish families, who promotes an intensive use of the language; Spanish meetings in European countries – the possibility of organising trips of qualified On Spain teachers to schools in Europe and conducting language classes (min. 20 hours a week); special courses – “tailor-made” courses, min. 20 hours a week. Courses for seniors – for people over 50 years of age, with a programme of additional activities such as cooking classes, learning the language in the classroom (4 hours a day) and further learning during culinary workshops in Spanish (1 hour). DELE preparation courses – for those who want to prepare a group of students for a specific exam, special courses are developed based on specific requirements and topics; On Spain specialises in preparation for DELE exams at all levels; online courses to ensure that students gain maximum benefits from the classes, the material of the language courses is developed according to their needs. The persons in charge of the group can choose from a variety of grammar and conversation topics developed by On Spain for all levels. The school’s methodology focuses on communication and students learn to react in Spanish in everyday situations. The courses organised by On Spain are aimed at supporting the daily work of teachers and magnifying its effects in a light and pleasant way.
In March 2017, the school signed an agreement with MAHOS – a hotel association from Malaga, which aims at a joint organisation of food service and hotel internships dedicated, among others, to vocational school students.
